My name is Jane. I have a young black and rust male Dobe. His kennel name is Viemar Playing in the Dark. His call name is Kester and he is beautiful! I bought him as a pet, not for showing or breeding, but everyone remarks on his good looks. I am sure all Dobe owners have the same experience.

Hi, My name is Alison and I have a black and rust female dobe pup. Her name is Viemar Anastasia, pet name Lola. I also have her just as a pet (no showing/breeding) but everyone comments on how beautiful she is |

Hi Jane, nice to meet you too! Did you get Kester from Julie Jeanes in Bristol? |

Hi Alison, Yes he came from Julie Jeanes. I spent ages looking and decided that her Dobes were the best! I particularly wanted one sired by Amazon Dark Angel, and she was using him with her bitches. Julie has always been very helpful when I wasn't sure about anything. I would buy another Dobe from her any time! |

Hi Jane. Me too. I spent ages looking on the internet, and Julie's website was by far the best. Her dobes are fantastic. I would definitely have a pup from Julie again. She currently has a beautiful brown bitch called Lara who is only young but I would love one of her pups eventually. Have just looked at the pedigree and Lola's grandfather (on dad's side) is Amazon Dark Angel. |

Hi Alison, Kester's mum is a brown bitch. Viemar Simply Stunning (Crystal). Who are Lola's parents? I have added a couple of photo's of Kester for you to see him:

Hi Jane, Lola's mum is Eliza Daker at Viemar and her dad is Viemar Rugigi (who I think must be related to Kester's mum somehow - sister's maybe??). Lovely photos of Kester - what a handsome chap! I'm about to take some recent ones of Lola so will try and upload them onto here if I can!! |

Hi Alison. Lola looks lovely! She has all the qualities I would expect from her parentage. Beautiful expression. She looks like she is about to bark. |

Hi Jane, yes she's a real sweetie isn't she? She is quite dominant, like mum but laid back, like dad! She has just realised that she can bark, so now we bark at anything - leaves, flies, oh and the occasional visitor!! She is in season at the moment which is a bit of a nightmare as it means keeping her confined to the garden etc, so no lovely walks. Will probably have her speyed in a couple of months beacause, beautiful though she is, I'm not interested in breeding.
